What is traditional document automation?
Traditional document automation, on the other hand, takes data from various sources within an organisation, processes the data, adds personalisation, and then assembles and formats it for distribution. Document automation is typically implemented as a "point solution" -- it functions within a particular area of the organisation and is not integrated with your IT infrastructure. Traditional document automation typically uses a proprietary content repository and a proprietary workflow, with emphasis on batch distribution of documents.
