Executive Team

Stuart Butts, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President A successful entrepreneur and creative leader, Stuart Butts is the founding Chairmen of the company. He is considered to be a pioneer in the High Volume Transaction Output market. His vision and commitment have been instrumental in carrying Xenos forward to its present position as a world-leader in its segment. Mr. Butts is an experienced entrepreneur, having founded a number of leading-edge technology companies in both Canada and the US. He is a graduate of Trent University and the University of Toronto Law School and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Paul Walker, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Paul Walker is responsible for customer development, product development, professional services, consulting and sales. Paul has had extensive customer-facing experience in all our global markets since joining Xenos in 1999. He has held a variety of key management roles including director of product development, director of presales, director of consulting and shared responsibility for technical and business strategy definition. With 11 years experience in the IT industry, he was previously a software developer at the Insurers’ Advisory Organization where he designed and built online systems for the insurance industry. Paul is a graduate of the University of Waterloo in mathematics and computer science.

Graham Barker, Chief Marketing Officer Graham Barker is responsible for global corporate strategy and marketing, product marketing and strategic partnerships. With Xenos since 1994, he was most recently director of worldwide strategic alliances, most notably with Oracle, announced in June 2006. At Xenos he has been responsible for EMEA marketing, product marketing, international VAR partner development, North American sales and key account management. Previously he was associate director of IT at one of Canada’s largest colleges. Graham holds a Master’s of Education degree from the University of Toronto, a diploma in computer systems design and programming and is conversant in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

George Kypreos,
Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer

George Kypreos is responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial, legal, information systems and human resource operations. He was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SAMSys Technologies Inc., a publicly traded TSX-listed Canadian Company in the field of Radio Frequency Identification. Previously, he was the Financial Controller for Northern Response International, and between 1989 and 1996, he was a Manager with the International Chartered Accounting firm Grant Thornton. He is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Toronto.
