High performance software also adds support for TIFF input and easy indexing
TORONTO, Ontario, January 11, 2005 - Xenos Group Inc. (TSX: XNS), the data to e-content company™, today announced the release of version 2.0 of d2e Vision, its next-generation software product. Three new major components are now available - for processing Adobe PDF 1.4 and TIFF input files and for easily generating indexes for high volume electronic content management, archive and database applications. These complement the existing capability to process IBM AFP and Xerox Metacode/DJDE printstreams and generate PDF, HTML/CSS, Image, TIFF, AFP and XML output formats for critical e-business applications such as web-based customer statement presentment.
Bill Kurtz, Xenos’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing, stated, “The d2e Vision PDF Parser is an innovative breakthrough allowing our customers to take existing PDF documents and re-purpose them for use in high volume print or web-based applications.”
Some of the world’s largest banks, credit card, insurance and brokerage companies have recently implemented Xenos d2e Vision in high volume production, processing millions of pages hourly. They selected d2e Vision for its highly scalable performance enabled by its support for multi-threading, resource caching and streaming input/output.
Written 100% in Java, d2e Vision provides the critical performance needed in many other large organizations to meet their requirements for flexible electronic content management, archiving and dynamic e-business Web document presentment solutions with data extraction, document separation, transformation and repurposing capabilities.
Rapid application development with d2e Vision Developer Studio enables higher productivity and faster return on investment. It features a graphical interface for complex font mapping with complete multi-language support, including full double-byte language capability for the Asian market. d2e Vision is available on Windows NT/2000/XP, AIX, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris and IBM z/OS (running Unix Systems Services).
