French Government Department DGCP Selects Xenos d2e Platform™

Document Transformation and Indexing Solution to Process 30 Million French Government Tax Forms

PARIS, France, May 12, 2005 - Xenos Group, Inc. (TSX: XNS), the Data to e-Content Company™, today announced that the DGCP (Director General for Public Accounts/la Direction Générale de la Comptabilité Publique ) has selected Xenos d2e Platform software. The DGCP, the revenue and tax department of the French government, is responsible for auditing the use of public funds and the management of tax forms from French taxpayers. Despite the growth in online tax filing, there are still 30 million paper tax form submissions each year which the DGCP is responsible for securely archiving.

DGCP chose the Xenos d2e Platform solution to meet this requirement and enable efficient archiving of all French taxpayers’ forms. With its data extraction, document separation and document repurposing and transformation capabilities, Xenos d2e Platform solution was selected for its proven high volume performance and document fidelity. Now DGCP can transform these official documents from IBM AFP format to Adobe PDF and repurpose, archive, retrieve, print and view them on-line using a web-based application.
