Xenos Announces d2e Vision™ v2.1 Enhancing its High-Performance, High-Volume Document Presentment Capabilities

Latest Enhancements Expand Ability to Normalize, Index, Transform, Repurpose, Archive, Retrieve and Output Documents for Critical e-Business Applications Including Statement Presentment

a leading provider of high-performance data, document and delivery solutions for e-Adaptability™, today announced the release of Xenos d2e Vision version 2.1 that includes a new Metacode Generator, enhanced indexing features and significant parser advancements. These enhancements extend the product's existing capability to process PDF documents, TIFF files, IBM AFP and Xerox Metacode/DJDE printstreams and to generate PDF, HTML/CSS, Image, TIFF, AFP and XML output formats for critical e-business applications such as customer statement presentment.


New Features in Xenos d2e Vision Version 2.1 Include:

  • Metacode Generator - enables normalizing, indexing and archiving of high volumes of Xerox Metacode/DJDE printstream documents for subsequent dynamic retrieval and conversion to PDF on the fly
  • Enhanced Indexing - allows for conditional application of information extracted from any field on a page by the Indexer component, including ability to determine when to begin new documents, generate bookmark entries, insert URLs and apply advanced document presentment characteristics such as watermarks, text and images to a page
  • Improved Page and Text Manipulation - enhances productivity and document security with capabilities including skipping pages and replacing or masking text
  • Enhanced PDF Parser - supports PDF 1.5 and 1.6 document processing
  • Dynamic Font Capabilities - allows for dynamic creation and embedding of PostScript Type 3 for faster implementation and embedded TrueType fonts providing more options beyond the Adobe core fonts
  • Improved AFP Parser - enables processing of all the major barcode (BCOCA) formats including 2D-Matrix, and highly compressed continuous tone color images (IOCA Function Set 45)
  • Table of Contents Component - enables multi-level nested PDF bookmarks for easy, rapid document navigation
  • Double Byte Fonts - supports Outline Double Byte Fonts including IBM AFP Unicode Migration Fonts for Asian languages
  • Performance Enhancements - improves speed and volume capabilities via multithreading, resource caching and input/output streaming
