Xenos Sponsors XML Holland 2005

Sponsorship Extends Corporate Commitment to Further Global Adoption of XML Standard

TORONTO, Ontario, November 22, 2005 - Xenos Group, Inc. (TSX: XNS), a leading provider of solutions that automate processing and delivery of data and documents, today announced its sponsorship of the SGML/XML User's Group Holland conference, XML Holland 2005, to be held in Arnhem, Netherlands from November 23 to 24, 2005. The SGML/XML User's Group Holland is a major forum in Europe for knowledge transfer and information sharing pertaining to XML standards and XML-based e-business transaction applications.

At the meeting, Patrick Smith, director of XML product management at Xenos, will deliver a presentation entitled "Adaptive Business Models: Leveraging EDI and ebXML for competitive advantage." The presentation will underscore the importance of EDI as a messaging format, even as its traditional implementation over high-priced, value-added networks is brought into question. Smith will detail how electronic business-to-business (eB2B) transactions can now be executed over the Internet (eB2B over IP) to achieve the ability to trade with any partner, anywhere in the world, using any data format. "eB2B over IP," Smith said, "may well turn out to be the killer application for XML, because it is based on completing XML-based transactions between trading partners, using XML-based standards for transforming data, and XML-based rules for managing transaction traffic and routing."

The Xenos terminalONE solution enables eB2B over IP with an offering that picks up where EDI left off by letting organizations achieve the benefits of electronically transacting business, securely over the Internet, using the data formats of their choosing and in a way that assures quick adaptability to changing business requirements.

"Xenos has a long history of supporting standards that can be used to leverage information resources and streamline information transfer between disparate systems," said Lee Garrison, vice president of marketing at Xenos. "We are certain that applications for XML are both wide and deep across the enterprise, and we are focused on delivering XML-based solutions to the global marketplace."
