Xenos Solution Extends Functionality of Existing Applications by Enabling eForms, Workflows, and Electronic Report Distribution
TORONTO, Ontario, December 20, 2005 - Xenos Group, Inc. (TSX: XNS), a leading provider of solutions that automate the processing and delivery of data and documents, today announced that New York's Tioga County has completed implementation of infoWEB, an enterprise class report and document management solution. Tioga County will rely on infoWEB to automate the processing of purchase orders and a wide variety of other eforms, and to electronically distribute internal reports.
"We turned to Xenos because they were the only company to combine eforms and electronic report distribution functionality in a single solution that works with our existing applications and data streams seamlessly," said Ron McEwen, Deputy Treasurer and Budget Officer of Tioga County. "infoWEB differentiated itself by being easy to use, easy to implement, and requires no changes to our existing infrastructure. Its true value to the county is in the ability to streamline the distribution of information and eliminate the potential for human errors as we process a wide variety of forms for human resource and finance applications. Equally important, the Xenos solution is very costeffective; we project a full and rapid return on investment through savings that accrue by eliminating the manual processing of 1,000 monthly purchase orders. Combined with the additional savings we anticipate through other eforms and automated report distribution applications, bottomline benefits are truly substantial." In addition to the eforms processing of internal purchase orders, Tioga County's infoWEB solution will be used to electronically distribute operational reports that previously were paper-based. As a result, the county will virtually eliminate the costs previously associated with report distribution, storage, and retrieval, while adding unprecedented access, security and auditability. The solution tailors report content based on the specific needs of the end-user and their authorization level, and allows the recipient to choose from a variety of electronic delivery channels.
"New York's Tioga County shows leadership among municipal governments in using technology to minimize overhead costs, optimize staff productivity, and ensure efficient service delivery to constituents," said Stuart Butts, CEO of Xenos. "We applaud their innovation and are proud to have been selected as their technology partner for developing an information supply chain that will have both immediate and far-reaching benefits to the citizens of this county."
