Over time through various mergers and acquisitions a large US Bank had accumulated numerous disparate archives. The CSR's did not have access to all of the information they needed as different document content was distributed throughout these systems. The CSR's wanted a single place to be able to view the exact information needed to service their customers.

Solution: Xenos Consulting provided best practices approaches for consolidating and normalizing all of the document content into a single Oracle Database. This included the methodology for storing and versioning resources and dynamic transformation of the content to a Web viewable format.

Results: Xenos Consulting provided the necessary expertise to ensure a successful migration of the content from the disparate archives to the Oracle Database.

Challenge: Archive Migration for Technology Consolidation

A large Insurance company had both Mobius ViewDirect Repository and IBM OnDemand systems in house. The customer recognized an opportunity to consolidate technologies and reduce their overall infrastructure costs. The question was how to migrate the content.

Solution: Xenos Consulting Services provided the expertise in how to extract the Metacode data and resources from ViewDirect, index and transform the data into PDF documents for loading into OnDemand.

Results: Xenos performed the actual extraction and transformation offsite, offloading the entire process from the Insurance Companies internal resources and systems.

Challenge: Archive Migration for New Technology Adoption

A large Insurance company had a legacy archive on the mainframe. This archive was no longer being supported and was costly to maintain. The company wanted to reduce their cost and risk and consolidate this content in their Corporate Standard ECM System, Filenet Image Services. Due to the content being in a proprietary format, it was a significant challenge for their internal resources.

Solution: Xenos Consulting performed a Discovery Analysis to determine the best process for extracting and transforming the documents to PDF for loading in to Filenet Image Services.

Result: Xenos Consulting determined during the Discovery Analysis that the process for extracting the content and transforming the proprietary format could be accomplished.
