The Xenos Metacode Indexing feature of the Xenos d2e Vision product enables the extraction of indexes from Xerox Metacode and Line Conditioned Data Streams (LCDS), sometimes referred to as DJDE (Dynamic Job Descriptor Entry) print streams. Pure Metacode indexing is supported as well as indexing of line data and mixed mode files that print on Xerox centralized printers can. No changes are required to the applications that generate the Xerox Metacode documents.
The powerful Xenos Metacode Indexing feature is often used in applications to consolidate COLD/Archives and load ECM systems, for electronic statement presentment and high volume print production. Through the easy-to-use Xenos d2e Vision Developer Studio GUI, you can visually select any field or section in the source documents from which to extract field data for Metacode indexing.
This data is then used by the Metacode Indexing feature to define indexes and conditional business rules for advanced document processing such as sophisticated document separation and user-developed d2e Extensions components.
The Metacode Indexing feature also supports Regular Expressions allowing for the conditional application of information extracted from any field on a page by the Xenos d2e Vision Indexer component, to determine when to begin new documents, generate bookmark entries, insert URLs and apply advanced document presentment characteristics such as watermarks, text and images to a page. In addition to Metacode Indexing, all other major print stream formats including Double Byte AFP as well as PDF files can be indexed with the same capabilities.
High volume. High value.
