Jeff Williams, Director of Product Management
Jeff leads the Product Management group at Xenos where he interacts closely with virtually every department in the organization as well as external customers and prospects to drive overall product direction and gather market research. He has over 14 years of experience in the technology industry with over 8 years in the HVTO and ECM markets and over 5 years in Product Management. Jeff started at Xenos in 2002 and has held a range or responsibilities that helped shape his understanding of the market from the technical product requirements to the overall business drivers. Jeff attended the University of Toronto where he earned an Honors Bachelor of Science with majors in Economics and Computer Science as well as becoming Pragmatic Marketing Certified in 2005.
Craig Schumacher, Senior Solutions Architect
Craig has over 6 years experience at Xenos, starting in Customer Service where he was responsible for supporting all of Xenos’ products at many Fortune 1000 companies. After two years he joined the Implementation Services team in the role of Technical Consultant where he implemented customer applications built using core Xenos technology. Currently Craig is a Senior Solutions Architect and works closely with customers in their evaluation of Xenos products. He also helps design, implement and integrate best-of-breed solutions to meet customer’s critical business challenges. Craig works closely with the Implementation Services team in writing Statements of Work, developing Proof of Concepts and demonstrations to showcase Xenos products and solutions. Prior to joining Xenos, Craig attended Ryerson University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Applied Computer Science.
Jeff Mills, General Manager, Xenos EMEA Group
Jeff is based in London, England where he is responsible for implementing the strategic plan for Actuate in Northern Europe as well as the Xenos strategic plan throughout EMEA.
Jeff has more than 20 years’ experience in the document and data industry. He joined Xenos in 1998 and held a variety of key technical and sales positions before being appointed EMEA Managing Director in 2004. Jeff was appointed the role of General Manager for Actuate’s Northern Europe division in 2010.
Prior to Xenos, Jeff held positions at Southern Water PLC and Hays Paperstream (now RR Donnelley) where he played a major part in the engineering of a billing system that could be tailored for use by emerging telecommunications companies. Jeff is a frequent public speaker and has published several articles pertaining to print stream and ECM trends and technology.
Doug Koppenhofer, Regional Vice President

Doug Koppenhofer has provided sales leadership in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) marketplace since the early 90’s having worked for leading edge companies both small and large. This experience includes successful implementations at some of the first COLD or HVTO Archiving solutions in Fortune 500 companies, some of the highest volume document composition systems, and the most complex document automation projects, including one of the first commercial roll-outs of accessible PDF documents for the visually impaired. Doug has been married to his lovely wife of 22 years, has 3 children, and enjoys skiing and road-biking from his home in Colorado. Nobby Akiha, Senior Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Akiha brings over 25 years of experience in high technology and consumer packaged goods marketing to Actuate Corporation. He joined Actuate in 2000 as vice president of Marketing. Prior to joining Actuate, he was vice president, Marketing and Business Development at Inference Corporation. Mr. Akiha also served as senior consultant at Regis McKenna, Inc., Director of Marketing Communications for CASE vendor Interactive Development Environments (IDE) and Group Product manager at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Akiha started his marketing career consulting to consumer packaged goods companies at Management Decision Systems and Burke Marketing Research. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of British Columbia and an M. Science in Management from the Sloan School of Management at M.I.T.
Naveesha Maharaj, Accessibility Consultant, CNIB
As an accessibility consultant, Naveesha Maharaj provides accessibility reviews and audits, promotes accessibility awareness and services to organizations within Ontario and provides accessibility information ensuring compliance with the current WCAG, W3C and AODA standards.
Since 1999, she has worked in the pharmaceutical, financial and corporate retail industries as a technical team lead, merchandise business associate and e-business specialist.
Peter Abrahams, Practice Leader Accessibility & Usability, Bloor Research
Peter started in IT as a sandwich student in 1966 with IBM and continued to work for them until 2003. In a company then known especially for its hardware Peter saw the importance of software and especially transactional processing. He installed the first IMS on-line system in the UK as well as early versions of DB2. His role as both pre and post sales technical support involved him in the design, implementation and integration of complex systems in many of the major banks, retailers and manufacturers in the UK, Israel and Europe. He spent three years representing IBM software to the analyst community which is when he first met Robin Bloor.
Peter joined Bloor in 2003 and built on his knowledge gained as a consultant to research the integration market place. In 2004 his experience with some disabled friends and a report by the Disabilities Rights Commission prompted him to start research into IT accessibility for the disabled. Recognising the growing importance of this area he set up Bloor's Usability and Accessibility practice and now devotes most of his research to this area.
John Mancini, President at AIIM International
John has over 25 years of progressively expanding responsibilities with three major non-profit organizations. Two of these — the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) and the American Electronics Association (AEA), are among the largest technology-focused trade associations in the U.S. The Public Affairs Council is a professional association focused on government and public affairs executives. Currently President and CEO of AIIM, International, an association with 40 staff members and annual revenues of $7 million, focused on the document and content management technologies that are key enablers of process change at leading companies.
Craig Smith, Vice President Sales and Global Marketing
Craig Smith has been a proven leader in providing core leadership in the areas of business, technology, sales and marketing functions during an era of explosive growth in business and Internet marketing technology. Craig has a deep and diverse range of knowledge and experience from initiating innovative business/technology strategies through to large scale development and acquisitions. Craig has a BA from Carleton University.
Peter Ganza, Director Product Marketing
Peter has more than 15 years of experience in the technology industry. Before joining Xenos, he held a leadership position at Ryma Technology Solutions helping to implement and automate product management best practices. Prior to Ryma, he held a number of strategic, product management and technical roles at Symantec Corporation. At Xenos, Peter is the accessibility champion and responsible for the overall direction of Product Marketing. He studied Computer Foundations at Sheridan College.
Steve Jones, Vice President, Solutions Architecture and Implementation Services
Steve leads Xenos’ Solutions Architecture and Implementation Services group where he works closely with customers to implement and integrate Xenos technology to address today’s critical business drivers. Steve previously held the position of Vice President of Solutions Strategy where he was responsible for delivering specific product packaging strategies based on Xenos Enterprise Server. Steve has also held the positions of Vice President of Business Operations, and Director of Product Management. Steve developed his unique blend of business, operational, and technical skills working for Perle Systems Limited as Global MIS Manager, Compaq Canada as Senior Operations Analyst, and CDS as Senior Systems Engineer. Steve Jones has been analyzing, developing and implementing computer business solutions since 1987. Steve attended the University of Western Ontario and holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the Schulich Business School.
Al Tufts , Practice Manager, ECM Migrations
Al has over 20 years experience at Xenos and has held various positions since starting in Customer Service to support legacy products. Al moved to Professional Services to help build the Transformation services and solutions, and subsequently took on the position of Director of Professional Services. Currently he is the Practice Leader, ECM Migrations for this growing segment of Xenos’ Professional Services division. Prior to joining Xenos, Al held Data Center operations and management positions at Bank of Nova Scotia and Royal Insurance. Al enjoys meeting customers and helping to plan their migration strategy. He works with both the customer and Xenos project team members to ensure success.
