Xenos Document Transformation Technical Stack
Xenos Field Technology (XFT) is an immensely powerful feature of the Xenos Document Transformation application. XFT provides the ability to graphically map, extract and repurpose information contained within print streams. This extracted content can be used as document metadata within archives, loaded directly into back office relational databases promoting straight-through processing, or delivered as structured XML files used for content analytics or interactive presentation.
The Xenos Document Transformation component-based architecture allows a single print stream parser to feed any number of downstream format generators with only a single read of the input. Configurable project flow components allow business logic to be added to any transformation project providing the ability to:
- Add constant text, images and PDFs to any page, based on conditions.
- Burst large collections of documents into individual documents.
- Create index files for loading ERM/ECM archives containing field extraction from the input of both visible and non-visible information.
- Perform redaction by replacing text on the page defined according to conditions or remove certain text and/or images from the page.
- Relocate text or images on the page.
- Branch a Project Flow to go to multiple project flow components and generators concurrently.
- Load ECM systems and migrate from legacy document archives using robust indexing capabilities of visible and non-visible information.
- Parse PDF for ERM/ECM archive index/load or high-volume printing.
- Support Multi-language and Double Byte Characters.
- Suppress certain pages from being output based on conditions.
- Add Bookmarks and URL links to PDF documents for easier navigation.
- Extract any visible text off the page either in a static location or relative to the location of other text found on the page.
