The Xenos Loader™ maximizes IBM® FileNet™ P8 investments by enabling organizations to load high volumes of print stream documents, images and their associated metadata within FileNet P8, eliminating the need to retain and support legacy IDARS archives. It breaks up stacked files into individual document objects, transforms formats as required and extracts additional indexing information directly from the content during processing. Xenos Loader supports any print stream format such as: AFP, Metacode and Line Data, as well as XML, PDF, PDF/A, workstation documents, and rich media file types. It provides a central gateway between an organization’s business-critical content and their IBM ECM solution.

In addition to the many internal operational reports produced by corporate applications, some of the most business-critical content includes customer-facing documents such as statements, invoices, policies, bills or check images. As well, there are internal management reports such as inventory positions, payroll statements, shipping manifests and financial statements. These types of documents are produced in very high volumes and are traditionally printed on large production printers for internal distribution or delivery to external customers, partners or vendors by mail or courier.
Organizations now demand that this historically-printed information also be made available online in formats such as PDF or TIFF. The IBM FileNet P8 ECM platform does not natively support the high-performance load and viewing of print stream document formats. Xenos Loader provides a robust and agile solution that fulfills all of the requirements for automatically loading content, together with its associated document properties (indexes and metadata), directly into IBM FileNet P8. This solution enables transformation, repurposing, indexing, and extraction of print stream documents, images or PDF.
